The Hammer Head
The Hammer Head is the sport model we offer. It is definitely not your normal wheelchair. We have placed the rider very close to the ground. This not only allows riders to reach the ground, but it also makes the chair extremely stable. This design gives the rider a more of a "laid back" beach chair kind of feel. Legs are straight out in front and when you recline the seat you are basically in a chaise lounge position. Great for sun tanning, or taking a little nap on the beach. The Buggy's measurements are 45W X 40L

The Sand Crab
This is our four wheel design. It places the rider in a more sitting and upright position. The seat does recline to allow for some sun tanning. Transferring into and out of this design is a bit easier. We have also added a storage rack under the seat. The Buggy's measurements are 40W X 42L
The Lobster
This is our rental model. This Buggy has a width of 32 inches wide. This allows the Buggy to fit through ADA complaint doorways, gates, and such. The Buggy's measurements are 32W X 50L

We offer 3 different models for sale. The Sand Crab which is our more traditional model, Having four wheels and a normal seating position. The Hammer Head which is a 3 wheel model with a more reclined seating position and very low to the ground. And the Lobster which is our narrowest one allowing access to ADA compliant doorways and gates.
Every chair from Beach'N Buggy's is custom designed with the client's needs considered throughout the entire building process.
Our chairs are built with all heavy duty/Medical grade components; using 4 pole 1 hp motors, 24 volt 120 amp controller/joystick combination. Dual 8 amp on board charger. Chairs come with a drink holder and umbrella holder. Additionally we can install headlights, USB ports, car horns, fishing rod holders, and pull behind carts are also offered. We powder-coat it to any color you can imagine.
The motors, control systems, and tires are where much of the cost comes into play. As you can imagine nothing on these chairs is readily available and most parts are handmade in small quantities. The cost for any design, is $7,000.00 plus tax (if customer lives in Alabama.) As you may already know, most electric indoor wheelchairs range from $2,000-$5,000+ and have limited mobility in outdoor environment. Our Beach'N Buggy's are more rugged, having virtually no limits on mobility; barring of course water. We do offer shipping (for a fee), or customers can pick up.
We offer a 1 year warranty on all electronic parts, (except Batteries as those can be damaged by not charging them on a normal basis) and 5 year warranty on the frame.
